I have a 2009 Nissan Versa hatchback that I bought new from the dealership. Yesterday morning, when I was driving it to work, the engine cut off at a stoplight about six miles from where I started. I looked under the car and noticed that there was fuel spilling out but when I pushed the car into a parking lot, there was no trail. Upon this observation, I assume that there is a leak in the fuel line, because when I turn the key into ignition, gas spurts from the tank, but from a place where I cannot see. I undid all the bolts attaching it to the undercarriage, but it still won't come off and I'm afraid to pull the tank directly because I know that there is probably a fuel pump inside the tank itself. I'm looking for a website or a place that I can look at car blueprints and how to remove the fuel tank from underneath the car.
So in finale, where can I find a place/website that gives me visual specifications on how to remove the fuel tank from my car?
