How do I replace the alternator on my 1997 Infiniti Q45!?

I bought a new battery and after 2 or more hours of driving my battery light turn on, the lights started to dim and the car slowed down until it came to a complete stop. I know or atleast I think I know its the alternator. Can you please tell me how to replace it?!
 
you need to test the alternator should be putting bout 14 volts out
 
You would probably be best off having a mechanic replace it, you have remove the serpentine belt, disconnect everything from it, then pull it out and put the new one in. But it can be a real hassle. Its best just to have a mechanic do it, shouldn't be more than $200 pending on the cost of the alternator.
