How do I set message ringtones on my samsung mesmerize?

I can't seem to set a text tone for text messages. How do I do it?
Not for individual people, but for my text messages alone.

Go to the home screen and click on the menu button.
Go to settings, go to sound settings then go to notification ringtone. From there you can choose which tone you'd like. I have found that ringlert is a free app where you can download free ringtones, and alert and notification tones. Good luck!

After deleting a sms hit the menu button then more. And then setting. You will find ring tone there
