I have a Belkin Wireless G Router 2.4GHz 802.11g. I've plugged in my Broadband modem to one port and my desktop to another. So I can share the internet connection or even files between two computers provided that one of the them are wireless. So I can share files between my desktop and the wireless laptop. But when I plug in my laptop to one of the other LAN ports on the router I can't get my laptop and desktop (both connected to the router) to share files. Anyone know how to fix this?

Run the network connection wizard on both machines allowing file and printer sharing when asked. By default this will give each machine access to the Shared Documents folder on the other machine.

The network wizard can be found in the sidebar in My Network Places as setup a home or small office network.
