How do i set up the freeview on the Samsung LE32C450?

i have my satalite dish connected but i am only getting 5 channels and i dont think its the freeview ones because its a really bad picture whereas my tv downstairs has loads of channels really good quality both connected to the same airel
it has freeview built in & the dish is to pick up the freeview,
