How do I shoot a soccer ball?

Sometimes, shots on the ground are the best. But here is how you shoot.

On the Ground: With laces, lean over the ball, make sure the snap at the ball with a fast follow through, landing on your kicking foot

In the Air, driven: You have to get your toes/laces under the ball and lean back a little bit, but not too far as it will go over the goal. Have a big follow through landing on your kicking foot.

i know i hit it with my laces but when i do it doesnt get any air...it stays on the ground and when i try to make it get air i end up hitting it with my toe...i do everything else with my body right just not the part that involves the foot. please help:(
