How do I show her my affection without getting wierd looks and starting rumors?

I like this girl, and she likes me, and we both know it and we're working on getting together... what are some ways i can subtly show my affection for her without the whole school looking at a lesbian couple! We don't really want people to know but I really want to like... hold her hand, or play footsies or something! i sit behind her in math class.... i see her at my locker all the time. what can i do?!
i don't wanna like get in her pants, and i can't always see her after school becuase i don't always have a ride. my parents don't know i'm gay and i don't want them to just yet. I need to show affection in school.... is footsies ok? or just a bump with the hand? better ideas? add something?
we BOTH know we like each other and we're trying to work out how it would work and its looking like we can't get too serious, but i can show subtle things.... but like what?

just give her that look. all of my friends and my girlfriend's friends always say they get jealous when I give her that look. that loving, warm look. the you're-the-only-one-for-me look. trust me. she will melt to the floor

girls that aren't lesbian often do things that males couldn't do without being considered "sexual" or "school appropriate" and get away with it without a odd glance, so i wouldn't say no
