The problem - I'm homeless, and it's about to get really cold here in the midwest. I noticed last year that a plastic poncho was keeping me warm as well as dry when it was raining. So I decided to try using plastic as a blanket. The problem I have is, I guess, my body heat rises, causing the plastic to get wet. The cloth blanket underneath the plastic then gets wet.
This year, I put pin holes in the plastic blanket, but so far I'm still having the problem. I have mainly been sleeping in a park, but I may be moving under a bridge soon where the surface is concrete. I'll still have to use the plastic so does anyone have any ideas on how I can stop the moisture from forming?
