How do i stop Divx player plus from going to screensaver during videos.?

Under file - preferences - playback, theres a box that says Disable all screensavers while playing videos, weather it's checked or unchecked it all ways goes to a black screen after about 15 mins, it's not my screensaver from my laptop, which i have set to come on after 30 mins. Not only does it go black half way through videos but its then out of sync when you move the mouse, i have to go back a few seconds for it to re-sync. Any ideas on how i can watch videos on Divx player plus without it going black?

it's most likely the laptop power settings, they may be set to turn off the creen after 15 mins for power saving. check these settigns and disabled and screen ones

That sounds like standby mode. If your cursor doesn't move within say 15 minutes the computer will go into standby, which will most likely happen exactly when you are watching a movie.

Solution, go to power schemes and lengthen standby mode to at least longer than 2 hours which is longer than most movies. Or else turn off standby mode completely.
