How do I stop seeding a torrent from BitTorrent?

Hi, in my last question on here, I asked why my laptop slowed the internet down for all of the other devices connected to my internet. Thanks to one of the people who replied, they said that if you do use a torrent program, people might be seeding the files you have downloaded. So I looked and noticed that, I ACTUALLY WAS SEEDING. I never knew that. I didn't even know the meaning of seeding until they told me. So, I use BitTorrent and I need to know how to stop seeding files so all of my other devices and my family's devices can go faster. Please respond. Thanks.

First of all, without people seeding there would be no files to download. Seeding is part of the community and people usually expect you to seed to a 1:1 ratio.

That said, when the torrent is done and it says "seeding" instead of download, right click on the torrent and click stop, and it will stop seeding.
