How do I stop these rumors around the school that I am dumb?

Well I am in Sixth grade and eleven years old and I just got an A in my Wood Shop Class that I signed up for and went around telling my friends and they told me that Wood Shop is a low standard for people who want an easy grade. I just like Wood Shop and people are now calling me dumb. Is what they said about me true?
I like that class but very few people see what I am interested in. And when I grow up I am wanting to maybe become a Mechanic and build buildings.
 
just because you like something you're good at doesnt mean you're dumb, what makes you dumb is believing stuff that people say about is true when you know its not. dont let people's opinions about doing stuff you like influence your decisions because at the end of the day you're yourself and not anyone else, you're you, so be you and do the stuff you want, and not worry about what anyone else says, and if you want to stop the rumors about you being dumb, then prove them wrong, study more, and get good grades in all of your classes. hope this helps
 
They think you're dumb because wood shop has nothing to do with your intellect, it's about your physical and building skills. Also judging from the fact you just said "I am wanting to maybe become", I would assume that you are actually dumb and there's no reason to stop the rumors.
 
OMG THOSE (Just blah, I wont say it...) lol well I am in 7th grade and I dont have woodshop, like at all like its no even an option, but if i did I wou;d really want to do it! I am actually a really good student too. I have straight A's, Im in 8TH grade math instead of my 7th regular, AND im with this program called G.T.where they take super smart people and try to challenge them lol and I would research a bunch of random facts and make people really annoyed with my SMARTITUDE lollll
