Well I am in Sixth grade and eleven years old and I just got an A in my Wood Shop Class that I signed up for and went around telling my friends and they told me that Wood Shop is a low standard for people who want an easy grade. I just like Wood Shop and people are now calling me dumb. Is what they said about me true?

Of course you're not dumb. It's good to do well in class. They're the dumb ones. Don't listen to them, they're just being immature and saying that to feel better about themselves. Classic jerk face. Just say "Whatever, it'll be an extra A on my report card."

It's not about being an "easy" class. It's about doing what YOU want and feeling good about yourself. Forget those jerks, and just say to yourself that their jealous. Every A counts, whether it's science class or wood shop!

Oh, and congrats on your A!

Seriousley, they are just jealous of your talent. I personally would talk back to them and say:
-at least I am learning to do something. How can Social Studies help you in real life?
-can you make something out of wood? No? I thought you couldn't anyways.

Or if you are kinda shy you can:
-study harder and get good grades win a few awards this is a fool proof way.
-enter your wood work in competition and then have your school announce it.

YOU ARE NOT DUMB! Scientifically speaking it takes hand eye coordination, imagination, and attention to detail to do wood shop. Not everyone can do it. You have quite a skill (seriousley if you gave me a piece of wood I would screw it up soo badly)

Hope this Helps
