How do I sync a T-Mobile Sidekick ID w/ Microsoft Outlook?

My coworker has a T-Mobile Sidekick ID & wants to sync it w/ Outlook - do I have to buy a 3rd party software? If so, do you know which one, or have any other helpful tips? I'm used to syncing Windows Mobile phones and BlackBerry's with Outlook but don't know anything about Sidekicks.
