How do I tell my bf I don't like pda, without hurting his feelings or making him mad?

I just started dating this guy at my school, and I know tomorrow he's gonna want to hold hands in the halls- which is fine. But I think he'll probably want to hug/kiss between classes as well. I get really uncomfortable with that kind of stuff at school, I guess just because I'm too uptight and stuff at school.

But I'm afraid to tell him I don't want to hug and stuff, because I do.... just not at school. Should I just give in and try to be more relaxed about it... or tell him I don't want to?
 
When he leans in for a kiss, just say "Not here, silly!"
I dont know, be cute about it.
