How do I transfer my music from itouch to new laptop?

My old laptop died and I can not get any files from it. I have now got a new laptop and installed iTunes, I plugged in itouch and synced but only items I have purchased from iTunes has been installed on the laptop. Is there a way to transfer the remaining songs?

The easiest way is to buy some transfer software to copy all the songs off the iTouch.

You could take the hard drive out of the old laptop, and mount it in an external caddy, but often iTunes randomly puts the files anywhere on the hard drive.

Hi,
I don't think you can as iTunes only syncs music files that are on your laptop to your iPod not the other way round. Hope this helps a bit.
