how do I transfer pictures from a sony ericsson C510 to the computer.?

I have sony ericsson software in the computer.......What happened was this,......
I tried to transfer a couple of pics to "My pictures" in the computer, but I actually
transferred the pictures from the computer to the phone instead.
I run windows XP Home (If it makes any difference)
