connect it to itunes and click restore or update assuming you are using the same computer you used to sync the iphone with before. once this is done u cant have it activated without a sim unless u use a jailbreak program. you dont need to add the third party apps, just uncheck it during the process of jailbreaking it. then u should be fine.
