How Do I Unlock A Blackberry Pearl?

I got a new network about a year ago and just recently i broke my phone so I was going to use my old phone and just have it unlocked so I could switch it over with my new SIM card. Every website I found that could do this cost like up to 60 dollars. I don't have money to buy the feature. Is there any other way?
