How do I use Bittorrent?

I was told by my friend that bittorrent can download music. He uses it and has a lot of songs but I dont know how to work it. I downladed the 6.0 for Windows.
Can someone help?

You download a Bittorrent client like uTorrent: http://utorrent.com
and you go to specific websites to get the .torrent files so you can download them . However it is illegal if you violate copyright laws through this P2P Program.

You go to a torrent search site to find content you want. When you find the content, then you download a small file (the torrent) associated with the content. When the torrent is opened in a bittorrent client, transfer of the content begins.

download bittorrent from http://www.bittorrent.net/ and go to sites like http://thepiratebay.org/ to download. However, it is illegal if you do not pay for the software you download
