how do lebanese ppl view Gulf people Kuwaities in particular? HONESTLY PLZ.?

YA! is one of the best places to get honest views since u dont realy know the people so plz be honest. I've noticed alot of hate from Arabs like egyptians and palestinians towards Gulf Arabs on the internet epecialy,internet is the best place to expose haters. The only reason i can think of is jealousy of the sucsess Gulf countreis have accomplished. I usauly get neutral responses from lebanese ppl towards Kuwaities.lol do you realy think i am going to leave kuwait to settle in lebanon HAHA, srry but i only go to lebanon coz i appreciate the weather and the nature there other than that and the beutiful downtown beirut which u guys ruined NO!!! you dont even have 24 hrs electricity!! we're in 2008 for God's sake!!Edit: its supposed to be other than that NO! ^--lk srry if i insulted anybody ,my bad but the answers i got made me say what i said i hate rationlising stuff so srry again. i understand that lebanon went through so many wars and problems due to its diversity which ecplains that the lack of a modern infra-structure and high unemployement.on what basis do u make ur assumption that lebanon is more developed? have u ever talked to a kuwiaty ? do u know that kuwait is the highest Arab nation on the list of Human development published by the UN? 50 ranks higher than lebanon.i am ready to accept the idea that lebanon is more devolped than Kuwait if you support ur claim with evidence but i am against the idea of stating something without supporting it with any proof.Marta- I respect ur point of view but i dont realy care since ur not lebanese. Meh, you'll be fine. They're not going to attack you for being Kuwaiti, especially because your a tourist. If you ever move there, you'll get some anger from the Christians who refuse the settlement of any Muslim immigrant, but that's as far as it'll go and even that's not likely.

I don't know about Lebanese people but some Syrian guy I met at school told me that people from Gulf countries hate Syrians, Iraqis, Lebanese and anyone who's not from the Gulf countries, so I guess that they mostly think you guys are show-offs! But I'm sure that they're not going to judge you individually based on thatedit: Okay I just read the rest of your question, I guess their stereotypes are not completely untrue. lolEdit 2: Believe me Lebanon is more modern than Kuwait will ever be, being ''modern'' doesn't just come with having tall buildings and nice cars, it comes with having a civilized and educated population. I'll leave it at that.

what would you feel if you are smart, well educated, civilized, nice looking, u have grate capacities and grate morals... then u see someone less smart, less educated, retro, don't know to do anything in life but eating and running after women, don't have any link or connection with civilization ,standing in front of you with an idiot smile to say that he is better than you just because he is from an "oily" area and have a lot of money... making fun of you because you don't have electricity while his country is collaborating with your enemies to destroy your country, then gives you some money and pretends he is helping you...what would you feel toward him in this case??? when you answer this question you'll be answering your own question

Honestly, I just have one Kuwaiti friend and she is amazing! She one of the sweetest, kindest and most generous people I've ever met. Plus, she works very hard to earn her money, although her parents are very rich. I haven't met lots of Kuwaiti people so I dunno what to tell you. But knowing her eliminated a lot of the judgements I had before..........

let me say we don't hate them nor get jealous but we're sad because they do whatever America wants to so they don't know how to talk their own decisions and if they do the Arab countries will be the more powerful counties in the whole world so they r stupid and don;t know how to use their money

Hiactually i don't judge people by places some Lebanese are good some not , Kuwaitis are the same, but i believe always that Lebanon is the best of the middle east by its culture and hospitality and nature but i believe also that all Arabs are friendly to Lebanon including Kuwaitis.

hmmm...i will and will always respect others points of view, and u have made a gd point, but lets be cleae here, where would kuweit be without america's help.....come on, its just weird that if all arabs unite american wont even dare to touch us, but since most of the gulf are with america than they will keep their hands stuck to ur throats, while in lebanon, we are free to live on our own, we (opposition in lebanon) doesnt want america to rule our country so they arent, and 14 doesnt want syrians to tule the country so they arent. evenrually we are running our lives. without the "petrol" or oil that u have, u wouldnt acheive wt other countries such as lebanon has acheived, we pass by atleast one war every 10 years, we fall and then we stand up stronger than before. some put us down, but they never put us out. Kuweit lived in pice except for their war with iraq, so u havent been in much violence like lebanese, the main point is that lebanon acheived wt u did and more without any help, without counting on things or countries that wont last forever, thats why we are worried abt how u will live without the oil that is, thanks to usa, decreasing every second. or without america's help.and am actually neutral, i dont LOVE nor dislike kuweities. they are arabs and we're fine together. One more advice: Dont look a waaay up orelse u'll break ur neck...Lebanon 4ever!
