How do you convert Divx to be used on a normal dvd player?

It should prebferably be free or if it is a trial, it must leave no or a very small watermark

Most of new DVD players support the DivX format ,just check the device and what kinds of formats it supports. if you can't find that, then just burn a short video with Divx format on a CD-R not a DVD and try to play it back in the DVD player if it recognized it and you can see it on your TV screen then you are lucky.
If the DVD player doesn't support the Divx format then try to buy a new one that supports this format, they are cheep now 40$ something.
Forget about converting the Divx to a DVD format, because it takes very long time and the file will be very large and needs sometimes more than one disk to record it.
