how do you delete song from an ipad?

I deleted some songs from my ipad and i syned it with my laptop. After syned it i notice the songs were back on my ipad only they were faded out so i cant click on them or swipe to delete them. I tried to find the song in my library to delete it that way but the songs werent there. how do i get the faded song off my ipad? someone please help
I went to iTunes on my laptop and iPad to find the songs and delete them that way but they weren't in my library. They only appear faded out on my iPad!
 
Usually when this happens there sometimes a glitch or a corruptness to the file. Go to the ipad sync tabs and go to music. Un check music. Then sync. Then re-sync and see if thoes songs are off
