My dad is a wizz with PCs (its his profession) and when i had a fault with my laptop (screen was going dodgy) he wanted to check it out. Knowing my dad, i deleted all the History as any teenager would. However he still managed to find out, PLEASE, HOW DO I COMPLETELY DELETE THE BROWSING HISTORY?? thank you! (would prefer internet explorer but firefox or others would do ,ty)
Also as one other thing if anyone has any idea how he might have found out please tell!

ha. Your so busted. There is NO WAY to permanently delete these things. That's why police detectives confiscate people's computers when they are accused of a crime. You think they just forgot to delete their "cookies" ? You can ALWAYS find out where that computer has been.

Here's an idea...

Stop doing bad things on your computer and all will be fine.

lol nice try kid.

Try to get hold of a program called Tuneup Utilities. use its Registry Cleaner. Untick everything but the history and any others that sound historical (I can't remember the options off the top of my head)!

Good luck...

download and install ccleaner
CCleaner
=========
google ccleaner and install it from the result filehippo. While it installs just untick the boxes as some programs you dont want.

run the cleaner in windows/applications but dont tick the bottom 11 boxes in the Windows Tab.
run the registry cleaner as well, when it asks to back up the registry , allow it to do it, then clean the registry. You should run the registry cleaner a couple of times, but you only need to save it the once.

also
Delete history and memory from your search bar
====================================
These memory drops that occurr around your computer is caused by the internet browser.

Click this link and follow the instructions.

http://www.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=465

there are 2 instructions to alter
for IE, MSN, Firefox and Safari

click the Red 1, 2 , 3 circles in the link.
Note there are instructions to clear them once only, but if you expand the info in there, it tells you how to alter the browser settings to never have them.

For History set the Days to 0.

Hi,
please do this and not even your dad will find it :-
download CCleaner, install it and then run it, this will safely delete all your temp files etc for you, then reboot back into safe mode again (press F8 as it boots up) and defrag your hard drive to get all your free space back again,
CCleaner will also clean your reg files correctly as well, but please remember to reboot between doing a disc cleanup and a reg cleanup.
Defaggler will defrag your drive quickly and cleanly.
this will help you, (i promise).
http://www.ccleaner.com/download
http://www.defraggler.com/download

this is a completely FREE download and will not harm your system at all.
this will also remove all your passwords saved on your system as well.
