I have a blackberry curve 8330 and I just updated the software online to 4.5 but it deleted my browser icon so I cannot go on the internet anymore. How do I get it back anD download things like the facebook application?

I have a blackberry curve 8330, it's like 2 years old and I recently installed the update but when doing this it deleted my browser so I cannot access the internet. Is there a way to download apps without the AppWorld? I don't have appworld, is there any way i could download it or something off the internet??
