How do you feel about crude and crass humor in the workplace?

I just wasn't brought up around crude humor and bad language. But at my job, it abounds. I laugh and try to joke around with my co-workers...but I really feel uncomfortable with such poor taste in humor. Maybe I'm just prudish...maybe thats why people find me boring...but I really can't participate. What happened to decency around others? I never swear or make fun of others...what do you think?
