how do you get the new motorola h500 to work for call of duty 4?

i just bought the motorola h500. i hooked it up and ive had some problems. it shows on call of duty 4 that my headset is hooked up but it wont let me speak. ive tried every button. can anyone help me?
 
A few thoughts.

1. Check that your phone is NOT on mute.
2. Try increasing the volume on the headset.
3. Try unpairing and then repair.
4. Try it with another headset. If it works, the H500 could be faulty.
