...a Macintosh laptop? So I recently purcased a Verbatim External Hard Drive USB 2.0 (500 GB).
I need to import EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING, from my Macbook laptop into the external hard drive since my Macbook is going into repair tomorrow and it is going to lose all it's data.
How can I import every single bit of data on my laptop into the external hard drive?
Please answer descriptively, I need to turn it in repair tomorrow and do not want to lose all my data.

And how do you even install it to the Macbook? I see the .exe download file for Windows, but I don't see the Macintosh download file. Is download not required for Macintosh?
