How do you install a kill switch for an amp?

well bro, the remote wire goes to ur head unit, so this in itself is a switch, as in when u turn the head unit on or off.
if u want a true kill switch, put a switch in as u descibed, but in between the main power wire from the battery to the amp, and mount it on the dash....piece of cake. of course make sure the power wire is fused from the battery.

Alright so a switch has 2 plug ins on the back. I'm quessing you would get the remote turn on and cut it and make it go to the switch to one plug in and then it will go out to the amp from the other plug in right.? Wrong maybe. Of not how do u. If this is right does it matter wich plug in gets plugged in.
