how do you keep myspace from ruining the quality of your pictures?

seriously :/

so i love the whole photography thing & graphic designing.
i'd say i'm pretty swell at editing pictures & such, but
when i upload them onto myspace, they're horrible..
but for other people, they're pictures turn out fine!

i was told to save my pictures as 'png' & to never
have the image to large, but that didn't work.

anyone know?

For free, I use Flickr and Picasa - the quality is great and the interface is good too. I only used Myspace for a short time last year - it was more like punishment than entertainment. If you want a blog style, then you can get a Posteous account, then to post your pictures you just send them to [email protected] - it really is that simple.

Myspace is a waste of space.

Try to make the resolution smaller, MySpace photo uploader change its resolution of the picture randomly.

If you love photography and want to publicate them, it's better if you make a weblog or website, then upload those pictures to an image hosting, copy the code and paste them onto weblog or website.
