I responded to a job offer. They gave a legitamate web page. I checked it out too.
I went through internet interview. (Have had 2 previous)
Sounded funny, I asked, why?
Was told...legalities.
Went on and they even brought in Fed Ex.
Now totally confused. Thought...maybe...until..
she asked me to send her $1000.00.
What big corporation does this?

Just remember. If it sounds to good to be true it prob' isn't. Any time you job hunt and someone wants you to pay them anything. Leave it. It's a scam. Most all companies that use any type of temp service usually pay the service to find eligible employees. You pay nothing.

Sounds sus. Use Site Advisor to see if their website has been reviewed and what result it got - don't just look at the top, scroll down to where members have their say:
http://siteadvisor.com

Also, the WOT advisor for IE and Firefox often warns about sites:
http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
http://www.mywot.com/

(I can't get it to work on IE at the moment - did on a friend's but it won't on mine.)

A domain lookup is often worthwhile as well. And if you pay the money to get access to see any other domains they have, you might save yourself a lot of money:
http://whois.domaintools.com/

Or a call to whatever organisation looks after internet scams in your area and/or google the website address and see if you get information that way.

None. you're being scammed. You should have a phone contact of someone at the company, look around on the internet and see if the number is legit and see that the area code matches where the company is.
