I am going to be jumping my horse more when it gets better, and we're going to be getting a cross country course. How do I measure for brushing boots and bell boots? I'm not sure what size he takes, I'm guessing at medium/cob. He's a welsh cob X, but has quite thin legs.

Is the horse so crooked he hits his own legs? Maybe if he is a little corrective shoeing will help him to move more correctly and you would not need all the boots and protection.

Measure around the front pasterns for bell boots and the length from just below the knee to the bottom of the fetlock joint for the brushing boots. Go to the saddler and measure the boots for size - remember to take the tape measure!

Well my loan pony is a Welsh cob and her bell boots are size medium and i'm not sure what size her brushing boots are I think they are meduim aswell.
