How do you move Directv to another room?

From what I know the house is pre-wired. I walked outside and I saw a splitter with a Directv sticker, 2 cables connected to the splitter and 5 exposed cables (like the ends are roughly cut and uncovered). No other splitter ports were available. There were no other boxes for Directv and the wires from the splitter to the dish are underground.

Thanks!

It is very probable that it is ready for the final part of the install.

All you will need to is just connect the cable going to the jack in the room you want to the DirecTV receiver. Go into the diagnostic menu and look for signal strength. (I am assuming that this outlet was already wired and ready to go) Outside at the splitter put a cable connector on the wire going to the jack you want and connect it to the splitter. If you get a signal on the DirecTV receiver you have the right wire.

Unless you have a toner/tester it will be trial and error to determine which wire is the one going to your jack unless it is marked.
