How do you pack a denali trek standard hike mat in its waterproof dry sack carry bag?

Carry bag has inflation nozzle, male and female plastic clips and two slanting holes, perhaps to pass the plastic clips through. Instructions would have been helpful but were not included. If nothing else it provided a challenging problem solving experience for my two children but as yet we don't believe the problem is solved. Anxiously awaiting sensible advice.
 
First is getting all that air outta the mat. Compress and roll the mat towards the opposite end with the air tab, compress as tight as you can. after you have rolled it up close the air tab and then you can stuff it in the bag. here is a similar model showing how in a video,
