Whenever I wash my dark tops and jeans, especially the black ones, they end up with white streaks all over. It looks like lint but it's not. It doesn't come off no matter what I do. I've had to discard so many black jeans after only one wear because of this. I don't want to wear them repeatedly without washing them but I can't find a solution other than having them dry cleaned. What is the secret to preventing those annoying blotches on my dark clothes? Is there something I should add to the water?

it's your detergent!!
use a liquid instead of a powder or mix the powder with hot water first so it's dissolved

Turn them inside out and wash in cold water. Also, make sure you are using the right amount of detergent. If you are using more than the recommended amount that can cause the streaks. I hope this helps!
