How do you set a text signature on a Samsung Seek from Boost Mobile?

Okay, so everyone keeps telling me to go to the "message section" and click "options". Well, that doesn't work at all. When click "messages" on my main tab, it takes me directly to my text messages, and there are no other options on the page. There has to be SOME way to do this. And if there isn't, I'll be damned that this high-tech touchscreen slider doesn't have a simple signature option, but yet it can do all of this other crap.
