How do you set an mp3 file as the ringtone for a sony ericsson w760a?

I've already installed the Sony Ericsson PC suite, and i tried clipping my mp3 to less than 292 Kbs (approximately 30 seconds). But when i transfer the mp3, it won't allow me the option of setting it as my ringtone.

PLEASE HELP!! step by step instructions would be a plus :)
