How do you stop a bikes front wheel from 'wiggling'?

When riding down hill really fast the front tire of a bike can begin to wiggle and ultimately cause one to fall and that sucks. So my question is if your front tire begins to wiggle what can you do to straighten it back out and save yourself from falling?
