how do you take the stereo out on a 1994 Lexus sc300?

I want to take the stereo out on my mother's 1994 lexus sc300 coupe and replace it with a more current stereo with a cd player, because her's is obviously very old. I know there might be a gap because the stereo in this model is very big and newer ones are much tinier, but can anyone assist me? I'm no good with older models.
