How do you tell someone a hilarious story without laughing yourself?

lol..when I try to tell someone a hilarious story or joke that I heard or saw,I happen to laugh,then I can't stop laughing,and I'm not able to tell the story... xO

soo.. How do you tell someone a hilarious story without laughing yourself?
