How do you view Embedded Truetype fonts on DivX?

I have some videos downloaded on my computer that can only be viewed by DivX but for some reason the subtitles don't show.
On my other computer it says they are Truetypes fonts, so I'm guessing they just don't play on DivX.
The show isn't in english so I can't understand it without the subtitles.
Please help.

You didn't say what you are using to try to watch this. I recommend you download and install CCCP - Combined Community Codec Pack, and use the player that comes with it: Media Player Classic Home Cinema. I watch a lot of foreign films with subtitles and have yet to come across one that won't show the subtitles when using MPC.
