How does a Lockerz "redemption" work?

Lockerz has a certain number of prizes for each redemption, (usually 1000 of each prize) Basically whoever clicks the redeem button first gets a prize until they are out of stock. Memebrs can earn points by logging in, dailies, playing videos, and shopping. check with lockerz everyday to see when the prizes are in stock again.

Hey, I just joined Lockerz and already have a good amount of points. But once I earn enough points for whatever I want how do I get it? I mean I know you have to do the redemption but, 1: what is it?, 2: How do I participate, 3: when will they announce when it happens?, and 4: how often do they happen?
