I mean is it like, henry goes back 10 years in age but his surroundings and people around does not go back in time ? And for example, if the above theory is correct, does henry forget things ? i mean if he is 50 and he goes back to 40, will he still remember what he learned from 40-50 ? TYVM for your time but please do not include spoilers to illustrate your point as i am only at the beginning of the book.

Ummm, let me try to explain this so I don't ruin it, and so it makes sense.

Say I walk up to him when he's about 35 and I'm like "Hey, Henry! I met you a few years ago. You look like you got younger!" He won't know me because if he met me when he was older, say 50, that's how he would know me. From 50 and up, he'd know me.

Say I walk up to him when he's 25 and we are first meeting, he'll remember me from that age up.

At least, I'm pretty sure that's how it works. :/
