I have been working at a Taco Bell/KFC now for about three months and I am currently attending college for business management. I like my job there and enjoy the environment. I was wondering what one has to do in order to become a district manager or even a regional manager. Also how long it would take to get that high in the company. I may or may not stay working there for long after graduating college. Unless it would be worth the investment of time.

rob, what luck.. I was a DM for Taco Bell in 1984. I worked there for 2 years before becoming a DM started as ast. manager, the gen manager, sen gen manager, then dm.

work hard, keep your food cost under control, labor cost etc. Produce a good chris statement, you will get noticed. Of course, you must have good qsch, good reviews, boss must have confidence in you ie you must be a good manager. I enjoyed it. Now, i gave all that up in the early 90's, became a vp of technology company, now 45, retired. good luck
