How does Siddhartha experience the 4 noble truths?

The 4 Noble Truths are:
1. Life means suffering.

2. The origin of suffering is attachment.

3. The cessation of suffering is attainable.

4. The path to the cessation of suffering.

So how does Siddhartha experience each of these? I read the book and understand it, but I'm having trouble with this. Thanks! =D
