...direction of the police car? I was driving in a 40K zone at the speed of approx. 45Ks. there was a police car with camera fitted in. the street was narrow and i was in the opp direction of police car and i was the only one in the street. the camera flashed. i am just wondering if i got done for speeding???? as someone told me that you only get fined if you are driving in the direction of police car.

save your pennys ready for the fine, and if it doesn't come in the next 2 months, use the cash.
Sometimes they only bother with 5 k and under on slow weeks.

If you have a front license plate the camera flashes when the radar detects you driving over a certain speed.

So: If you are driving in the direction of the cop it catches your rear plate. If you are driving opposite of the car it catches your front plate.

Either way welcome to ticket land.
