How effective is goju/kempo karate?

Hi. I'm an orange belt in kempo/goju at my club. We do a mix of both styles. I consider myself to have a good understanding and application of what I've learned. But I was wondering if it Would be effective whilst fighting someone who is older and has more muscle than you. Just a hypothetical question. I try to avoid physical conflict.

kenpo karate? lol karate is not effective i would give it a 3/5 at best too many mcdojos and hard blocks are far from effective you know those type of blocks where they say when a guy punches just raise your hand and block it? Lmfao that has to be one of the worst advice karate has taught.i guess its ok for working out but definitely not for street effective .
Edit: Oya btw do not believe into the whole size doesnt matter it makes a huge difference i know people would like to think that if your incredibly good at martial arts size wont matter but it still does thats why they have weight classes and yes muscle does make a difference in a fight but all that aside you can still beat someone more muscly or fatter than you it just takes more effort.

ignore jamie he has no marital arts background and is just a fanboy, and parrots only what the fanboys says non of them ever took martial arts

goju ryu is kempo and karate. kempo is just anther term for karate.
there are over 50 styles of kempo saying its a mixture with kempo doesn't mean much unless you say which one its mixed with.

effectiveness is not depend upon the sty but is dependent on how you train and how your instructor teaches the style.
size is only good if you know how to use it to your advantage.

I don't know much, but I do know that all styles of kenpo/kempo are effective in a street situation. I don't know enough about Goju to answer that part.
