how is texting in the iphone 3g.?

my friend has an iphone that i might buy from him. i text alot. is it easy to text on? has anyone had trouble texting on the touch screen? sometimes i text without looking. i guess that would be about impossible. anyways opinions please!! also would it be hard to unlock? he has it for att ofcourse and i have tmobile

I'm not so sure about unlocking it....

But i do know that unless you have really really small fingers, it takes a couple of weeks to get used too... the letters on the touch screen are very small and sensitive, so it take some getting used too, you may just brush over one letter when you meant the one next to it, and then you will have to fix it, i definitely still recommend it too you, but i just thought you should know that it will take you a while to get used too....
