How is the virtual QWERTY keyboard on the Motorola DROID's?

Well, after my LG Voyager has been slowly falling apart for the past few months, the hinge finally broke today and my phone is literally hanging together in one piece. (I treat my phones the same after 6 months that I do after the day I got them. I just haven't had much luck with LG over the years.) Thankfully, it's right on time; my plan is up in less than 7 days.

I'm looking into the Droid Incredible, but i've never actually owned a phone with a virtual QWERTY. How bothersome is it? Does it act up at all? If you could list the pro's and con's, it'd be helpful.

the stock one is usable, but its not the best. in the market there are a couple different keyboards you can download. i use smart keyboard pro and it is phenomenal!
