ok i live in miami where is hot most of the time.... and there are thousands of cats in the streets of my neighborhood, and apparently one of them has died close to my room... my room is in the very back of my house which used to be a small backyard. i know the cat (assuming is a cat) is behind my room since the smell comes from that side and, there is no way fro me to go around my house and get the rid of the dead cat.. i closed all the windows and cracks that i could find and the smell lessened considerably, but it is still repugnant. so i just want to know how long would it take for the dead cat to completely decompose to the point it doesnt smell anymore, considering its spring here in miami and the temperatures are around 80 to 90 F, and also that is very humid and the cat is in the open.
