My dad just gave me a boat and trailer (nothing big but it floats, it's in AWESOME shape, and i dont have to row). On the title it says it is a 1965 model aluminum V-bottom boat 14'. Its no yacht by any stretch of the imagination but my grandfather bought it brand new in 1965 so i love it. My question is this; my buddy, who fishes also, says the boat is a sea nymph. I've looked all over and cant seem to find ANY sea nymphs older than 1970's. It has a really cool looking sea king motor on it, vintage colors too; mint green and white. I absolutely love the whole package's vintage look but just am not sure of the years. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

As you say, I remember them being around in the mid-70's, but I may just not have noticed them before, could be because I am a narrow boater, not a fisherman
How about asking one of the boating magazines (Readers' letter column?) if you don't get an answer here. Even someone in the RYA may know of some archive material.
